Welcome to the Guernsey County Juvenile Court website. The Juvenile Court is a division of the Common Pleas Court of Guernsey County. The Juvenile Court is located on the second floor of the Guernsey County Court House. It is the purpose of the Juvenile Court to provide the care, protection, and mental and physical development of children subject to the Court’s jurisdiction; to protect the welfare of the community, and to protect the public interest by treating children as persons in need of supervision, care, and rehabilitation. This is a serious responsibility and a serious challenge. The Court must work cooperatively with all agencies to achieve these standards. The Court will continually strive to help make our Court a better Court; our community a better community; and the people with whom we work and for whom we work better people.
