Criminal Division
Civil cases include personal injury and medical malpractice cases, employment and contract disputes, worker’s compensation appeals, foreclosures and other land disputes. If cases are not resolved by an agreement between the parties, they are either tried by a jury of 8 persons from Guernsey County or heard by the judge.

Probate Court
Duties range from the issuing of marriage licenses to overseeing trusts valued in millions of dollars.

Providing the care, protection, and mental & physical development of the children subject to our jurisdiction
Juvenile Probation
Facilitating and participating in many programs to encourage growth and provide support to juveniles.
